Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 September 2026. These terms apply to your use of Formzapp. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Formzapp is provided by Dan Wallace, trading as Formzapp, of Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA. In these terms, "Formzapp", "we", "us" and "our" mean the provider of the service, and "you" and "Customer" mean the business or individual using the service.

2. Accounts

• Accounts are for named individual use. Sharing a single login between multiple people breaches these terms, and Formzapp may suspend an account for it.
• A company account may add additional users ("seats") as separate paid logins.
• You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.

3. The service

Formzapp provides job forms, certificates and PDF generation tools for trades businesses. Formzapp is a tool to help you produce and store paperwork — it does not check the technical accuracy of the values you enter, and it does not replace the qualifications, competency, or professional/regulatory registration (for example NICEIC, Gas Safe, or F-Gas registration) required to carry out work or issue certificates in your trade. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy of any job sheet, certificate, or report you produce using Formzapp, and for complying with any professional or legal standards that apply to your trade.

4. Subscription and billing

• Formzapp is billed as a subscription (per-trade, per-seat, monthly) through our payment processor, Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• We may change our prices from time to time. We'll give you reasonable notice before a price change takes effect on your account.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and we don't provide partial refunds for the remainder of that period. If you're a consumer cancelling within 14 days of first subscribing, you may be entitled to a refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, except to the extent you've already used the service during that period.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Formzapp for anything unlawful, to attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the software, or to reproduce or reuse our form templates, PDF layouts, or app content outside of the app.

7. Intellectual property

Formzapp owns the software, form templates, and PDF layouts. You own the data you enter into the app about your own jobs and customers.

8. Data protection

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it, including how long we keep compliance-related job records.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep Formzapp available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may need to carry out maintenance from time to time.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of your use of Formzapp is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms (for example, by sharing a login) or if payment fails and isn't resolved within a reasonable time. You can close your account at any time.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we'll let you know before it takes effect.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
